MRIWA Supports Black Coffee Business Networking Event
MRIWA’s involvement reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusive research ecosystems, reconciliation and supporting Indigenous economic participation in Western Australia.
MRIWA is proud to support the upcoming Black Coffee Business Networking Event, taking place on Thursday 30 July 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Mineral Resources Park in Lathlain. This Indigenous‑led event brings together Aboriginal business owners, community leaders, industry and research partners for meaningful conversation, connection and shared learning.
The July Black Coffee session provides a relaxed yet purposeful environment to build relationships, strengthen networks and explore opportunities for collaboration across business, research and innovation.
Attendees will hear from MRIWA’s Director of Research Strategy, Tim Walton, who will share insights into MRIWA’s role, funding opportunities and pathways for engagement.
Whether you are an Aboriginal business owner, industry representative or community member, this event offers a valuable opportunity to connect, learn and contribute to future‑focused conversations. Places are free but registration is essential and events commonly fill quickly.
