Heavy Industry Low-carbon Transition CRC (HILT CRC) is focused on developing and commercialising low-carbon technologies to support the decarbonisation of Australia’s heavy industries, including steel, iron, alumina, and cement. MRIWA is engaged with HILT CRC, contributing funding to selected projects and investing sponsorship funds on behalf of the WA Government through the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification.
