Translating research – how MRIWA is advancing the critical minerals landscape of Western Australia

This year we used the increasingly popular theme of Critical Minerals to discuss the current Western Australian mining landscape, related MRIWA research projects and government initiatives, and considered pathways to innovation and commercialisation including applied outcomes and venture capital funding. This year we also merged with our annual MRIWA PhD Student Showcase so attendees could get a taste of the exciting new research going on behind the scenes.

Keynotes, in depth research presentations and interactive panels made for a dynamic day telling the story of how the minerals research sector is responding to Western Australia’s global-scale investments in battery, chemical and rare earth refineries.
