MRIWA invites you to our monthly tech talks discussing the intricate processes and findings of our recently completed projects with a chance to question the researchers face to face.

Join MRIWA for an insightful Tech Talk with Dr Giles Harrison of TECHT, who will explore the development and implementation of CMAP (Corrosion Monitoring and Protection), an innovative system designed to address one of the gold industry’s most persistent operational challenges; corrosion in cyanidation tanks.

Gold processing tanks are exposed to harsh conditions that can lead to undetected corrosion, increasing safety, environmental and production risks. Dr Harrison will discuss how the CMAP system combines real-time condition monitoring with electrochemical cathodic protection to provide continuous visibility of tank integrity, enabling data-driven maintenance decisions and extending asset life.
