MRIWA PhD Scholarships for 2027 are now open
Supporting innovative research that advances Western Australia’s minerals sector, the program offers five scholarships across priority areas including Critical Minerals, Net Zero Emissions Mining, Green Steel and Precision Mining.
The Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia (MRIWA) 2027 Scholarships Program has officially been launched by Hon Daniel Pastorelli MLA, Minister for Mines, Petroleum and Exploration; Water, supporting the next generation of research leaders in Western Australia’s resources sector.
The program offers scholarships to PhD postgraduate students undertaking minerals and mining-related research at Western Australian universities. Recipients will also gain access to MRIWA’s Education and Workforce Program, providing valuable professional development opportunities and industry connections.
