Summary

The two areas investigated in the MERIWA-supported modules of this AMIRA project were the further development of the thiosulfate process for gold leaching, and exploration of several aspects of sustainable cyanide management.

The thiosulfate process offers some new advantages. A model to track cyanide chemistry in a circuit by site personnel is presented.
