Biography

Sheryl Frame (B.Sc Physio) brings four decades of global entrepreneurial and innovation experience with a strong focus on commercialisation. Her career spans mining (AngloGold, De Beers), medical technology (ProMed, Medinexus, Express RX), IT (IBM, Edict International Consultants), and biotechnology (Liquim Limited). She has successfully driven new technologies from concept to market, building ventures that combine commercial returns with measurable impact.

For 12 years, Sheryl was a contracted Advisor to the Federal Government’s Commercialisation Grant program, guiding hundreds of companies through investment readiness, scaling, and market entry. She co-founded VentureX HQ and supports accelerator programs such as Curtin’s Ignition Program, ECU and UWA initiatives, mentoring founders in growth, capital raising, and go-to-market strategy.

Sheryl held Board positions at the Ear Science Institute and UWA’s Commercialisation Studies Centre.

Currently CEO of a sustainability-focused biotech, she continues to translate innovation into commercial success. Her many board and leadership roles reflect incisive strategy, governance expertise, and a commitment to ventures that deliver both financial and societal value.
