Biography
Sarah Morrison joined MRIWA in 2024 as a Project Officer and has since been appointed Program Coordinator, Education & Workforce Development. In this role, Sarah coordinates MRIWA’s PhD Scholarship Program and works with students, researchers, universities and industry to support emerging research talent and strengthen Western Australia’s minerals research capability.
With more than two decades of experience across the health, education and public sectors, Sarah brings a strong background in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, governance and continuous improvement. She holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has undertaken professional development in project management and continuous improvement through the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). Sarah is passionate about connecting people with opportunities, building capability and supporting the next generation of researchers.
