Biography
Dr Zafu Teferi is a MRIWA Principal Project Officer, leading the Accelerated Mineral Carbonation (AMC) Research Program and contributing to the activities in Alternative Use of Tailings and Waste and Critical Minerals.
An experienced sustainability and decarbonisation practitioner, Zafu focuses on the application and translation of research to support real-world outcomes in the mining and resources sector. He brings experience across academia, industry, and government.
Zafu holds a PhD in Sustainability from Curtin University, a Master of Arts in Urban Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
