METS Innovation Program – grant applications open
Applications now open for up to $250,000 in co-funded METS innovation and commercialisation of research outcomes.
Mines and Petroleum Minister The Hon David Michael MLA today launched the MRIWA METS Innovation Program aimed at Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) companies.
The METS Innovation program seeks to support companies navigating the innovation ecosystem. The $3 million invested program includes a specific grant scheme and project facilitation to match funding up to $250,000 for collaborative research projects.
The program will support the development of new technologies in MRIWA’s strategic focus areas, such as low-emissions technologies, precision and low-impact mining, critical minerals, and the alternative use of tailings and waste.
