ChemCentre research could turn mineral processing by-products into a valuable new resource

MRIWA-sponsored research at the ChemCentre in Western Australia has validated procedures and standards allowing long-term environmental interactions of mineral processing residues and other industrial by-products to be predicted for local soils and climatic conditions.
This capacity will provide greater certainty to industry, Government and the community regarding the potential use of by-product materials in construction and other industries.
