Coincident loop and in-loop transient electromagnetic interpretation for sheet conductors
This report gives a graphical interpretation scheme for use with coincident loop and in-loop transient electromagnetic data, based on analysis of responses calculated for a finite thin sheet conductor in free space, and designed for use in areas of moderately conductive overburden.
An anomaly is described in terms of: (a) the transient decay of the peak response, and (b) the amplitude pattern observed at a characteristic delay time.
Four examples are given to illustrate application of the interpretation method.
