Development of an electrochemical corrosion probe for use in gas and oil flowlines

Summary

The study covered the successful design, construction and testing of a system using a Wire Beam Electrode and Electrochemical Noise Analyser combined together for the first time.

The system was applied successfully in the laboratory to investigate the impact of magnetite on the corrosion of a flowline.
