The geochemistry of Archaean gold ores from the Yilgarn Block of Western Australia: implications for gold metallogeny

Summary

The results of this study indicate that the great majority of Archaean gold deposits in the Yilgam Block belong to a single group in terms of: (i) the suite of elements introduced together with gold, and (ii) the ore-element enrichment factors (i.e., ore/unmineralized hostrock).
